Dr. James Loebell joined Ankle & Foot Associates in 1997 after practicing in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for the previous five years. His undergraduate training and degree were received from Monmouth College in New Jersey and his Masters Degree in Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. 

Dr. Loebell's professional training was completed at the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, followed by a two-year surgical residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Philadelphia. He is diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery crtified in foot surgery and a member of the American, Florida, Hillsborough County Podiatric Medical Associations, and The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.  He has published several articles, including a chapter in the 1992 edition of Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Leg.
